A nossa primeira impressão do trabalho foi em primeiro lugar, o quão trabalhoso iria ser realizá-lo mas iria ser interessante fazê-lo uma vez que iríamos trabalhar matemática de uma maneira que nos cativava muito, através da tecnologia, achámos que esta seria uma boa maneira de nos envolver mais na matéria. Até este momento, o nosso grupo escolheu o tema do trabalho e pensou em diferentes maneiras de usufruir do mesmo, combinou horários e locais para a gravação dos gifs e aprofundamento dos fundamentos teóricos, dividimos tarefas e começámos a executá-las. Lemos a parte do livro onde foca o tema das transformações de funções para termos uma melhor ideia do que iríamos fazer no trabalho. O nosso trabalho consiste na observação e análise de parábolas no desporto, nomeadamente basquetebol, volleyball, futebol, badminton e alguns movimentos na ginástica. A nível da tecnologia vamos utilizar o software Geogebra, a nível do website estámos a utilizar o wix.com. Algumas das nossas dificuldades têm sido a organização do tempo e perceber como vamos conciliar o tema "Transformações de funções" com o nosso tema "Desportos". Temos um pouco de medo de não dar tanta importância à matemática como deveríamos uma vez que estámos mais focados na parte tecnológica.

Semana 1 | Week 1 (27/01-31/01)

Our first impression of this work was firstly, how difficult would be performing it but it would be interesting to do it once we'd work math in a way that really captivated us, through technology, we thought this would be a good way to get more involved in the matter.Until this moment, our group has chosen the theme of the work and thought of different ways to enjoy the same, combined schedules and locations for recording gifs animation and deepening of theorical fundaments, shared task and we began to execute them. We read part of the book which focus on the theme of transformations of functions so we can have a better idea of what we do at this work. Our work consists in the observation and analysis of parables in sport, including basketball, volleyball, football, badminton and some moves in gymnastics. At the level of technology we will use Geogebra, at the level of the website we use the wix.com. Some of our difficulties has been the oganization of time and how do we reconcile the role Transformations theme with our theme sports. We have a little fear of not giving so much importance to mathematics as we should since we're more focused on the technology.

Durante esta semana desenvolvemos o website e colocámos uma pequena introdução traduzida que explica quem somos e o que pretendemos fazer. Começámos a elaborar a parte teórica que colocaremos no website e que abordará os 5 tipos de funções quadráticas, bem como a função quadrática no geral.Começámos, com alguma dificuldade, a elaborar um série de gráficos com o software GeoGebra, uma vez que a Márcia, que costuma trazer o seu pc, tem faltado. Já tínhamos construído um gráfico para cada tipo de função e observado os seus movimentos quando alterámos os seus valores. Sentimos algumas dificuldades, principalmente, na colocação de caracteres matemáticos no site. Mas, também as sentimos na elaboração do website, no entanto foram desaparecendo com o decorrer do projeto. Falta-nos colocar o resto da informação teórica acerca das funções e elaborar uns pequenos vídeos sobre parábolas no dia-a-dia e os seus movimentos.

Semana 2 | Week 2 (03/02-07/02)

During this week we have developed the website and placed a small introduction translated that explains who we are and what we want to do.We started to prepare the theoretical part that we put on the website and will address the 5 types of quadratic functions, as well as the quadratic function in General.We started with some difficulty, to draw up a series of graphs with GeoGebra software, once that Marcia, which usually bring your pc, has been lacking. We had already built a chart for each type of function and observed their movements when we changed its values.We have some difficulties, mainly in mathematical string placement on the site. But we also feel some difficulties in the preparation of the website, however were disappearing with the course of the project.We will put the rest of the theoretical information about the functions and draw up some short videos about parables in everyday life and its movements.

This week, we've been working a little more on the site, creating new gifs, with the help of a proper site to do it , and putting them into there places. The gifs were made with pictures of group elements, where we practice certain sports to'represent' parables. To photograph, we asked permission to occupy the sports hall of the school, wich was assigned without problems, also, we use our card games school to capture another gif, in this case basquetbol. We had some setbacks, since none of us could make the bridge properly, but this problem was solved and we ended up not face us with any more of the same or different gender. Still adjust some prominors that needed to be improved on the site and did a review of all that had been done to date. In summary, we made gifs that were missing and we had improvedand and adjust prominors.

Semana 3 | Week 3 (10/02-14/02)

Nesta semana desenvolvemos essencialmente a parte do conteúdo e da estética. Terminámos também os últimos pormenores para concluir o desenvolvimento do projeto.

Este foi sendo desenvolvido ao longo do seu percurso com a cooperação e esforço de todos os elementos. O grupo acha que foi um trabalho desenvolvido com pouca dificuldade em termos teóricos, mas não a nível tecnológico. Ficamos muito entusiasmados em participar na elaboração deste projeto, pois possibilitou uma melhor compreensão do tema abordado.

This week we have developed essentially the part of the content and aesthetics. We finished the last details to complete the project.This was being developed along its route with the cooperation and efforts of all the elements. The group believes that it has been developed with a little difficulty in theoretical terms, but not the technological level. We were very excited to participate in the elaboration of this project, as it enabled a better understanding of the theme.

Nesta semana, estivemos a trabalhar um pouco mais no site, criando novos gifs, com ajuda de um site próprio para o fazer, e colocando os mesmos no devido local. Gifs esses feitos com fotos de elementos do grupo , onde recorremos à prática de desportos para representar parábolas. Para fotografar, requerimos o uso do pavilhão desportivo da escola, que nos foi cedido sem problemas. Tambem usamos a placa de jogos da nossa escola para capturar um outro gif , neste caso de basquetebol. Tivemos alguns contra-tempos , uma vez que , nenhum de nós conseguia fazer a ponte corretamente, porém esse problema foi resolvido e acabamos por não nos deparar com mais nenhum do mesmo , ou de diferente género. Ajustámos, ainda alguns promenores que necessitavam de ser melhorados no site e fizemos uma revisão sobre tudo o que já tinhamos feito até à data. Em resumo, acrescentamos os gifs em falta, melhorámos e ajustámos promenores.

Durante esta última semana completámos o site e demos os últimos retoques no mesmo. Temos de mandar um e-email ao professor Paulo Monteiro que nos vai ajudar no designe do site para ver se é ou não preciso alterar o aspeto do mesmo ou então algum pormenor. Também temos de mandar um e-mail à professora Isabel Braz que nos vai dar o seu parecer sobre o contúdo matemático que colocámos no site. Além de pedir o parecer a estes dois professores temos de pedir ajuda á professora Olga Trabulo, a nossa professora de inglês, para nos ajudar com a parte do inglês do site. Nas próximas semanas vamos ter de aguardar pelo parecer destes três professores e depois fazer as alterações necessárias.

During this last week, we completed the site and gave the finishing touches on it. We have to send an e-mail to Professor Paulo Monteiro that will help us in designing the site to see whether it is necessary to change the look of the site or some other detail. We also have to send an email to Professor Isabel Brás that will give us her opinion about the mathematical content. In addition to asking the opinion of these two teachers, will have to ask for help teacher Olga Trabulo, our English teacher, to help us with the part of the English. In the coming weeks we will have to wait for the opinion of these three professors and then make the necessary changes.
